This morning, we added a new “Email Your Senators” page to the website.  It allows you to email directly the appropriate staff contact who handles trade as opposed to going through the generic forms found on most Senate office websites. We hope this improves the ability of constituent companies to contact their Senators about the negative impact of GSP expiration.

To ensure this “constituent outreach” is effective, we’re asking companies to follow a couple simple rules:

  1. email only Senators from states where your company operates (we don’t want the staff contacts to disregard emails as “spam”)
  2. provide as much detail as possible in the email, including locations for your operations in the state
  3. be courteous, as we will need to work with these individuals
