This website is run by the Coalition for GSP, a group of American companies and trade associations organized to educate policy makers and others about the important benefits to American companies, workers, and consumers of the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) program. Coalition members range from small, family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 corporations and operate in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Small businesses are the backbone of the Coalition for GSP, whose typical member:

  • Has about 20 employees;
  • Is located “outside the beltway”;
  • Does NOT have in-house lobbyists or other lobbying firms working on their behalf, and
  • Pays under $2,000 in annual membership dues (which are based on annual GSP savings).

Since 1992, the Coalition has been run by The Trade Partnership, a Washington, DC-based economic and consulting firm. Click here to visit The Trade Partnership’s website.

The Coalition for GSP advocates for swift GSP renewal. Click here to learn more about joining the Coalition and our efforts to promote a robust GSP program.
