The Senate is expected to begin consideration of the House-passed GSP bill on Monday evening. Therefore, we need as many calls/emails as possible this afternoon and throughout the day on Monday indicating:
- impact of GSP expiration on your company
- support for straight extension as passed by the House
- opposition to amendments that may threaten the delicate compromise on GSP and TAA (and by extension, the FTAs)
It’s imperative that Senate offices hear from constituents before Monday evening. The phone numbers for all Senate offices is available here. We’ve also updated our Email Your Senators page so that it specifically mentions Monday’s votes.
