On Wednesday, March 8, the Coalition for GSP will hold a Congressional Lobby Day urging key Members of Congress to renew GSP and refund over $2.5 billion in extra tariffs paid by American businesses like yours. We hope to build upon a successful lobby day last fall where over 60 attendees met with approximately 80 House and Senate offices.

IT IS CRITICAL FOR CONGRESS TO PUT A (CONSTITUENT) FACE TO THE PAIN CAUSED BY GSP’S EXTENDED EXPIRATION & YOU CAN HELP MAKE THAT HAPPEN. 

The Lobby Day is open to all companies and associations supporting GSP renewal. You need not be a GSP Coalition member and there are no fees to attend.

Please register below ASAP if you can join us in Washington, DC so that we can begin requesting meetings based on constituent attendees. (Once submitted, you should see a “Thank you” note directly below.)

  • Owner, President, Director of Sourcing, etc.
  • Please provide address, city and ZIP for any facilities where you could meet with Representatives/Senators; if you LIVE in a different district we can request meetings based on your city and ZIP (no specific address needed)
  • Please provide any info on the impacts of GSP expiration that may be useful to include in meeting requests for your Representatives/Senators.
  • Please share any info we should know in advance: will more than one person attend? Are there times you are NOT available for meetings? Do you have a personal relationship with a specific office?
