With the latest update, there are now 501 American companies and associations calling on Congress to pass an immediate, retroactive GSP renewal. Since the beginning of 2014, 75 organizations have added their name to the supporter list – more than 1 per day. You can see the full list, broken out by state and congressional district, here.
The companies alone are headquartered in 43 states and 251 congressional districts (plus DC and Puerto Rico). Small businesses make up 80 percent of the companies and the “typical” one employs 15 workers.
New companies constantly adding their name means there are likely thousands more that we don’t know about. If you are importing under GSP, please add your name for free by filling out this form.
